Uber plans to strengthen its technical teams in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, India, reports Livemint.
The American company is competing fiercely in India with rival Ola. However, it is unclear exactly how many people will be hired.
What is clear, however, is that India will be the second largest in terms of the number of technicians after the domestic market, the United States.
Uber is currently available in 31 cities across India. The company is also expanding into neighboring countries such as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
