
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs now advises against all "non-essential" travel to all of Lebanon.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also advises Swedes against traveling at all to the eastern parts of the country, to the border area with the Golan Heights, and to the southern suburbs of the capital Beirut, with certain exceptions.
The new travel advice is effective from Sunday until further notice. The reason for the changes is the "security situation", i.e. the war between Israel and Hamas.
