United Airlines, one of the world's largest airlines, is changing its CEO. Starting in March next year, Scott Kirby will replace current CEO Oscar Munoz in the leadership position.

Scott Kirby currently holds the title of "president" at United Airlines but will take over the position as CEO at the company's annual meeting on May 20, United writes in a press release.

Oscar Munoz will in turn replace Jane Garvey as the company's chairman of the board.

United Airlines had a turnover of just over $41 billion last year, equivalent to 390 billion kronor, making it the world's fourth largest airline.
