
Spain's weather agency Aemet is warning of high temperatures in the country over the weekend.
The heat is expected to be 10 degrees above normal September temperatures, reports Spanish 20 minutes.
– Exceptionally high temperatures for the season are expected in the next few days, writes Aemet on X.
Rubén del Campo, spokesperson for Aemet, tells the radio channel RTVE that temperatures could rise to 38 degrees, which would be the hottest days in October since 1950.
