Four Swedes were among the 157 dead when Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 to Nairobi crashed on Sunday.

The cause of the crash is being investigated and on Monday, experts from the US Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) arrived in Ethiopia.

The plane was a Boeing 737 Max 8. A plane of the same type crashed in Indonesia last fall, killing 189 people.

After the second air disaster in a short period of time, questions have been raised about the safety of Boeing's Max series and several airlines from different countries have left their planes on the ground.

On Monday evening, the FAA issued a letter stating that the model is deemed safe to fly.

But according to AFP, citing the FAA, the US is simultaneously requiring Boeing to modify the 737 Max.

It will ultimately be about design changes, according to Reuters.
American Boeing is the world's largest aircraft manufacturer and the company's stock fell sharply after the accident.
