Despite reports of reduced travel to the US, Sembo sees a completely different development. The company has more than doubled its sales of US trips compared to the previous year. A combination of smart packaging, AI-driven booking and a strengthened krona now makes it both easier and more affordable for Swedes to discover the US.

– We see a clear change in how Swedes book their trips. Flexibility and agility are in focus, and thanks to our smart packaging and our AI-powered booking service Amelia, travelers can quickly and easily create their own dream trips with multiple stops and customized routes, says Andreas Elmgren, General Manager at Sembo.

The strengthening of the Swedish krona against the dollar makes the US more affordable for Swedish travelers, while the demand for personalized and flexible travel options increases. Through AI-based travel planning, travelers can book complete trips in just a few seconds – whether it's a city weekend in New York, a road trip along Route 66 or a sunny trip to California.

– With our AI solution Amelia, travelers can plan and book their trips with maximum freedom. We see an increased interest in dynamic travel where you can tailor your experience, and the USA is a perfect example of a destination where this really comes into its own, Andreas continues.
