The United States has decided to lift the requirement for vaccination against COVID-19, effective May 11 for foreign travelers traveling to the country.

The White House announced this late Sunday, reports TT.

The decision also applies to US government employees and to people who conduct consulting work for the government.

In conjunction with the repeal, the United States officially withdraws the national emergency declaration that was introduced at the beginning of the corona pandemic.
