A government employee tells BBC that Joe Biden's cabinet is considering requiring vaccination for basically all foreign visitors.
Today, the country has closed its doors to the Schengen countries, Brazil, Ireland, India, Iran and South Africa.
The United States plans to open the country to international visitors, but in a "safe and sustainable way," writes the BBC.
No clear proposal or timetable is yet known, but the direction seems clear.
“With limited exceptions, foreign nationals traveling to the United States – from all countries – will be required to be fully vaccinated”
