Vanessa Butani becomes the new Director of Sustainable Business at Scandic Hotels

Vanessa Butani has been appointed Director of Sustainable Business at Scandic Hotels.

Vanessa has extensive experience working with sustainability, corporate strategy, and business development, most recently at Electrolux and previously with Plan International and Accenture. She will begin her new position at Scandic Hotels in March.

– Scandic is renowned for its sustainability efforts and has had a significant influence on the entire hotel industry by driving best practices to reduce environmental impact. I look forward to strengthening Scandic's leadership position in both environmental and social sustainability, says Vanessa Butani, Director Sustainable Business at Scandic Hotels.

Scandic has been working dedicatedly with a clear sustainability agenda for almost 30 years and has been a pioneer in the hotel industry in creating best practices for reducing water, energy, and waste. In recent years, the focus has been on social sustainability, where Scandic drives and supports projects for integration and inclusion in all the company's markets.
