Municipal Västerås Airport has managed to reduce its deficit, largely by cutting staff.

The airport lost around 25-26 million in 2018, according to Lars Kallsäby (C), the newly appointed chairman of the airport.

That's about five million better than the year before.

– Based on those conditions and the way the situation looked, it's absolutely fantastic. Then we have a goal from the owners that we should go one step further, says Lars Kallsäby to P4 Västmanland.
