Vemdalen has been ranked twentieth among the world's ski resorts with the greatest resilience to climate change.

Resilience is becoming increasingly important to buyers as climate change presents new challenges for ski resorts. The past season saw unpredictable weather resulting in less snowfall in some locations, and record snowfall in others.

The Savills Ski Resilience Index ranks 62 ski resorts worldwide based on five criteria to measure their quality, reliability and resilience to climate change. The criteria compare snowfall, reliability, length of season, altitude and temperature. The ski destinations are spread across the Alps, Scandinavia, North America, South America, Asia and Australia. The ranking has been mentioned in a article by Financial Times.

According to the press release.
