Venezuela and Panama are sending back their respective ambassadors and allowing air traffic between the countries to resume.

The countries have accused each other of corruption and bribery. But now they have agreed to put aside diplomatic measures and allow ambassadors to return to their posts, according to a joint communiqué.

The airline Copa is to resume traffic to and from Venezuela, an important transport link to the crisis-stricken country.
