Grace Richardson will travel directly from London Heathrow to Vietnam with Vietnam Airlines, which aims to highlight the growing connection between the UK and Vietnam through the partnership and promote tourism and cultural exchange.

– I am incredibly happy that Vietnam Airlines is supporting my trip to Miss World. Being able to travel with Vietnam's national airline makes the experience even more special, says Grace Richardson.

Miss England's national director Angie Beasley also welcomes the collaboration.

“Vietnam Airlines is a perfect partner as Grace travels to the host country of Miss World. The airline’s reputation for quality, professionalism and hospitality reflects the values that Miss World stands for,” she says.

This year's Miss World pageant brings together contestants from over 100 countries for a month of culture, charity, talent competitions and international exchange. The event kicks off with activities in Hải Phòng and Vũng Tàu before the finals week and grand finale in the coastal city of Nha Trang.

Vietnam Airlines, recently awarded five stars by APEX, operates direct routes from London Heathrow to both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and offers onward connections to destinations in Vietnam, Southeast Asia and Australia. The airline hopes the partnership will help strengthen Vietnam’s position as an attractive destination for international visitors.
