Clarion Hotel Umeå
Viktoria started her career early in the hotel world. At the age of 14, she got her first summer job at the hotel in her home municipality of Storuman and in 2006 she started at Nordic Choice Hotels and since then she has held many senior positions, such as Management Trainee, Hotel Manager, Operations Manager and most recently as Hotel Director for Clarion Hotel Wisby.

Clarion Hotel Umeå will open in the fourth quarter of 2022 and, with its 270 hotel rooms, restaurant, rooftop bar, conference spaces and wellness department, will create an international meeting place in the heart of Umeå.
– Returning home to Västerbotten and establishing the new Clarion Umeå is a dream come true. After 16 years in Västerås, Stockholm and most recently Visby, I am moving up in the country and taking on the task more charged and excited than ever. I have had the privilege of leading some of NCH's leading hotels, Quality Friends, Clarion Sign and now most recently Clarion Wisby, to develop the hotels into destinations for the local business community, tourists and business travelers – we will do the same at Clarion Umeå. My team and I will work to become the new living room of Umeå residents, the natural meeting place and create memorable experiences for the entire business community in Norrland! Together, we will continue to drive the development to make Umeå the first choice for national and international tourism, says Viktoria Andersson, incoming hotel director, Clarion Hotel Umeå.
Viktoria will take up the position of Hotel Director for the newly established Clarion Hotel Umeå in August.
