An American family flying from Tel Aviv, Israel, caused panic at Ben Gurion Airport.

In their luggage they had an unexploded grenade they had found in the Golan Heights and which they wanted to take home as a souvenir.

Security personnel raised the alarm and panic broke out among other passengers. One person was injured when he ran onto a baggage carousel in the chaos.

The grenade was taken care of and the family was questioned by airport police before they were allowed to board their plane, then without their souvenir.
