A yellow warning is in place for extensive rain on Mallorca throughout Sunday, local media reports. 

Up to 20 millimetres of rain per hour is expected. This will be combined with a cloudy sky and temperature peaks of 23 degrees. 

The rain is expected to continue throughout next week, but it is still unclear whether further storm warnings will be issued.
