Amsterdam is warning rowdy sex and drug tourists to "stay away" from the Dutch capital, writes the BBC.

The digital deterrence campaign shows videos of drunk young men being arrested by the police, handcuffed, fingerprinted and forced to spend the night in a drunken cell.

For years, Amsterdam residents have complained that drunk Britons urinate in public, vomit in canals and get into drunken brawls, writes the BBC. A round-trip flight to Amsterdam from the UK costs around 600 kronor. British travel agencies arrange, among other things, stag parties with strippers and canal boat cruises with unlimited booze.

A ban on smoking cannabis on the streets in and around the "Red Light District" where many brothels are located will come into effect in May. Starting this weekend, brothels and bars will be forced to close earlier.
