Was going to Gothenburg but ended up in Luleå

4 passengers boarded an airplane in Sundsvall that they thought would take them to Gothenburg.

But instead the plane landed in Luleå, writes Aftonbladet.
Due to bad weather, the airline Nextjet had to cancel a flight from Sundsvall to Gothenburg on Monday. This information appears to have never reached the airport in Sundsvall or the passengers, the newspaper writes.

According to the information the passengers received, the plane to Gothenburg was delayed. Instead of taking off at 5 p.m., boarding took place at 8 p.m. The passengers scanned their boarding passes and the plane took off. When they landed, the passengers on board were surprised to find themselves in Luleå.

Henning Lindberg, Nextjet's marketing manager, confirms that something went wrong. But it is unclear exactly what happened.

– What appears to have happened is a serious communication failure between the airport in Sundsvall and us, he tells the newspaper.
The passengers will be flown to Gothenburg on Tuesday, after a night at a hotel in Luleå.
