Waymo, part of Google's parent company Alphabet, which develops self-driving and autonomous taxi services, has now driven 10 million US miles, equivalent to 16 million kilometers, on public roads in real traffic, CNBC reports.
The technology company is reportedly just weeks away from making its self-driving minivans available to the public in Phoenix, Arizona. Waymo is expected to become the first robotaxi service in the United States.
