US aircraft manufacturer Boeing was trading volatile in Wall Street after-hours trading on Thursday, after reporting preliminary fourth-quarter revenue results that fell short of expectations.
This is reported by CNBC.
For the quarter, revenue is tentatively reported at $15.2 billion, which is below analysts' expectations of $16.3 billion, according to an average forecast from S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Boeing states that the main reason for the preliminary result is linked to the strike that affected the company last fall.
The stock traded volatile and was down about 3 percent at most in US after-hours trading.
