White House: Japan to buy 100 Boeing planes

Japan will buy 100 Boeing aircraft as part of the trade agreement reached between the United States and Japan, a White House official said on Wednesday.

This is reported by Bloomberg News.

At the same time, Japan is to increase its defense spending with American companies to $17 billion per year (previously, this spending amounted to $14 billion per year).

Furthermore, purchases of rice will increase by 75 percent and Japan will also purchase agricultural and other products worth $8 billion.
