This means that members earn Spenn on flights with both Norwegian and Widerøe. Furthermore, EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members are offered an exclusive status match to the highest level Priority.
”Norwegian Reward becomes even more advantageous as members now have more opportunities to earn benefits. We know that many of Widerøe's travelers are very loyal and therefore offer a 'status match' from EuroBonus so that they get Norwegian Reward Priority and can continue traveling with benefits,” says Magnus Thome Maursund, Commercial Director at Norwegian.
“With Norwegian Reward, we can offer travelers more opportunities to earn benefits. Every year, one million travelers on our commercial routes do not earn bonus points. Now that we are joining Reward, travelers on all commercial routes can earn points and receive benefits when they travel with Widerøe,” says Espen Steiro, Commercial Director at Widerøe.
The Norwegian Reward loyalty program offers benefits like free baggage and Fast Track, and members earn Spenn on every flight. These can then be used for new flights, overnight stays at Strawberry hotels and other Spenn partners.
– Reward is the best program for Widerøe customers. The program provides faster earning of benefits, even for customers who do not travel every week. At the same time, those who travel the most can keep the benefits they are used to, such as access to airport lounges where it is offered, concludes Steiro.
Status matching
Widerøe customers who have EuroBonus Gold or Diamond status can be ”status matched” to Norwegian Reward Priority. This means they get access to all benefits immediately.
