Ving today brings good news for all travel-loving Sörmännäs residents. After a 15-year hiatus, Sweden's largest tour operator will return to Nyköping with direct charter flights to Gran Canaria from Stockholm Skavsta Airport next winter.
The first departure will take place at the beginning of the autumn holidays, on October 26. After that, trips will be offered every Monday throughout the winter season until March 29, 2027.

Even though Arlanda is not too far away, we know how much it is appreciated to travel from your local airport where you can easily and conveniently get to warmer latitudes. We are therefore convinced that this initiative will please many in Nyköping and the surrounding area. It is of course extra fun that we can offer the first trip to Gran Canaria just in time for the autumn holidays as we know that many families with children are extra eager for a holiday., says Claes Pellvik, Head of Communications at Ving.
The fact that Ving is investing in direct charters to the most popular holiday destination among Swedish travelers is also welcomed by the airport.
