Travel company Ving will launch so-called repatriation flights for Swedes in the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia.
They expect 300 Nordic guests to travel home from several different destinations.
”"The flight is operated with Sunclass Airlines' largest aircraft, an Airbus A330-neo, and is scheduled to go to the Maldives this Sunday, March 8, and then to Phuket in Thailand for onward transport to Copenhagen on the night of March 9. Guests who are going further within the Nordic region will be booked in for onward transport from Copenhagen," they write in a press release.
– Being able to operate a flight from our own airline gives us the opportunity to help many of our guests get home directly during a period when it is incredibly difficult to find flight tickets. In parallel, we are working intensively to find solutions for our guests in Dubai and Doha as soon as possible, says Anna Hagberg, press communicator at Ving.
