The collaboration takes place on several levels, where Ving will help spread the Lidingöloppet brand and promote running as a form of exercise, including by arranging running trips to Ving's destinations.

– This is a very exciting collaboration where we can showcase Lidingöloppet and our various races to a target group interested in exercise. Together we will inspire more people to find running as a form of exercise, says Lidingöloppet's general secretary Tomas Hoszek.

Ving focuses on activity-based holidays and offers many hotels with good training opportunities. Ving has previously collaborated with En Svensk Klassiker.

– We have Classic-certified several of our hotels. This means that there are extra good conditions for training in the four classic sports; running, cycling, swimming and skiing. We know that many of our guests take the opportunity to train on holiday, and together with Lidingöloppet we are now looking forward to reaching out to even more people who see training as an important part of their holiday. We will also arrange inspiring running trips during the year, says Anna Dahlberg, product manager for sports and training trips at Ving.
