Winter chaos halts flights in Germany

The first day of school after the Christmas holidays is being cancelled in many parts of Germany after heavy snow and ice warnings. Over 130 schools have already closed and more are expected to close, writes Hessenschau.

At the same time, the storm is hitting air traffic. Frankfurt Airport is forced to cancel a large number of flights.
