Winter has come to Sweden

Winter has come to Sweden.

Stekenjokk's measuring station was the first in Sweden to record winter temperatures.

– We are now in the fifth day. Even though it won't be completely official until 8 pm tonight, I dare say that winter is here, SVT's meteorologist Per Stenborg told SVT Nyheter Västerbotten earlier in the day.

Meteorological winter means five consecutive days with average daily temperatures below zero degrees every single day.
