Wizz Air increased passenger numbers in May

The European low-cost airline Wizz Air, which flies from several locations in Sweden, increased the number of passengers by 19 percent in May to a total of just over 2.8 million.

In April, the growth rate was 19 percent. Capacity was expanded by 17.1 percent in May.

The cabin load factor, which measures how full the plane is, was 91.9 percent, an increase of 0.8 percentage points compared to the previous year, according to a press release. In the rolling twelve months, the number of passengers is up by 23.3 percent.
