Two women have been arrested by Greek police on suspicion of repeatedly stealing other passengers' suitcases at Athens International Airport.
During a search of the house, many bags containing cash, including Swedish kronor, were found.
The women are suspected of eight bag thefts since November last year. They are believed to have taken the bags from the conveyor belts when they themselves flew domestically and landed in Athens.
Bags containing clothes, shoes, wallets and sunglasses were found in the women's home. There was also cash in the form of Angolan kwanzas, Bulgarian leva, Polish zlotys, South African rand, Russian rubles and Swedish kronor, among other things.
It is not clear from the police report whether any Swedish bag owners have been contacted.
