TUI is strengthening its offering to the Turkish Riviera for summer 2026 with a new direct route to Bodrum. The Turkish low-cost airline AJet will fly direct routes from both Stockholm-Arlanda and Copenhagen-Kastrup, making the destination more accessible for Nordic travellers.
– We are very pleased to be collaborating with AJet, who share our view of Bodrum's strong growth potential. The new routes and increased flight frequency enhance our offering to Turkey in Central, Northern, and Eastern European markets. We see great opportunities for continued close cooperation in the coming years, says Stefan Baumert, Chief Commercial Officer at TUI Group.
Bodrum has in recent years established itself as one of the Mediterranean's most sought-after destinations and is often described as Turkey's equivalent to Saint-Tropez and Mykonos. The combination of crystal-clear water, whitewashed houses, award-winning restaurants, and exclusive hotels attracts an international audience.
The destination also offers a rich cultural and culinary scene, a lively marina with an international flair, and opportunities for boat trips along the Aegean coast. For those who wish to combine their holiday with a visit to Greece, there are also day trips to the island of Kos.
New premium resort opened
At the same time, the hotel offering continues to grow. In April, Akra Didim Resort & Spa opened, which is part of TUI Group's hotel portfolio. The resort is located in Didim along the Bodrum coast and offers 359 rooms and suites, including accommodations with private pools or Jacuzzis, as well as exclusive villas for families and couples.
The hotel focuses on gastronomy, spa, and year-round activities and is open in all seasons.
For travellers who prefer All Inclusive and a wider range of activities, TUI also highlights TUI MAGIC LIFE Bodrum, which offers a wide range of sports and fitness activities in a beachfront location.
