The travel company TUI does not have charter trips to Morocco and the tourist areas of Marrakech and Agadir, but arranges tourist packages for travelers, according to Laura Aaltonen at the company's press service.

”"It involves very few travelers, and we have been in contact with all of them who say they are not directly affected," says Aaltonen.

Most are located in or around Marrakech and Agadir.

TUI is monitoring developments and Aaltonen says that the airport in Marrakech will be open for traffic at lunchtime on Saturday.

She also says that the company is in continuous contact with travelers to see if they need assistance, but that there has currently been no need for emergency transport from the country.

This also applies to Finnish travelers who are in Morocco and who have TUI as their tour operator, according to Communications Director Aaltonen.
