MSC Cruises is making changes to its cruise program for the winter of 2027/2028. MSC World Asia will be moved to the southern Caribbean, while MSC World Europa will remain in the western Mediterranean instead of sailing to the Middle East.
MSC World Asia, which will debut in December 2026, will offer seven- and fourteen-night cruises in the Southern Caribbean during the 2027/2028 winter season.
Embarkation will be possible in Fort-de-France in Martinique, Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe and Bridgetown in Barbados. The routes cover several destinations in the Caribbean, including Saint Lucia, Grenada, Sint Maarten, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dominica and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
MSC World Europa stops in the Mediterranean
MSC World Europa was originally scheduled to sail to the Middle East during the winter of 2027/2028. The ship will now instead continue with seven-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean.
The route includes Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina and Valletta, with passengers able to board at several of the ports along the route.
The changes mean that MSC Cruises is expanding its offering in two of the company's popular cruise regions.
Booked guests will be contacted.
Guests who have already booked MSC World Europa in the Middle East will have the option to switch to another cruise or request a full refund.
Bookings for MSC World Asia in the Mediterranean and MSC Meraviglia in the Southern Caribbean are also affected by the changes. MSC Cruises is updating these bookings and contacting affected guests individually.
