Anna Vikholm has been the Director of Operations and Education since 2012, a position she continues in parallel with her new assignment as Deputy Secretary General.
– Growing is fun, but it also places new demands on our organization. This means that I want to strengthen our management with Anna Vikholm, who as deputy general secretary will both support me in internal leadership, but also represent the organization in external contexts, says Lars Lundström, general secretary of Friluftsfrämjandet.
– We see a need for more people to join in and lead, inspire and support as Friluftsfrämjandet is now growing so strongly, both in terms of operations and in terms of membership. The role as deputy secretary general is an exciting trust that I am looking forward to, says Anna Vikholm.
Over the past four years, outdoor activities have grown by almost 20% and expanded their offering to include nature parkour, activities in hundreds of schools and preschools, and activities for children and adults waiting for asylum decisions.
