flies directly from Copenhagen to three emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras al Khaimah.

Apollo's investment in the United Arab Emirates has been a success for several years and with direct flights to Dubai every week, it has become one of the tour operator's most popular destinations during the winter months. But Dubai is not the only emirate that stands out. The activity mecca Ras al Khaimah and the culturally rich capital Abu Dhabi are growing in popularity. Therefore, it is no coincidence that it is precisely here that the tour operator is now expanding its investment further by launching two brand new direct routes from Copenhagen.

– Until now, our travelers who wanted to experience Ras al Khaimah or Abu Dhabi had to fly to Dubai and be transported from there. Now they don't have to, and the journey is also shortened by up to two hours. We know that many of our travelers will appreciate this, not least families with children who are a large part of our customer group, says Martina Krantz, press officer at Apollo.

Apollo's new direct route from Copenhagen to Abu Dhabi will start on October 1 and will be operated in collaboration with Etihad Airways. The direct route to Ras al Khaimah will be operated by Atlantic Airways and will have its first flight on December 19.

Two unique emirates

While Dubai is best known as the world metropolis with spectacular records, Abu Dhabi is a mecca for art and culture lovers who want a slightly more relaxed pace. Here, luxury, culture and adrenaline rushes meet in the form of gorgeous hotels, famous museums and vast theme parks, and the beaches are as white as the sights are numerous.

Ras al Khaimah, on the other hand, can be described as the emirate without the glitz, which prides itself on its history and nature. Here, beaches are combined with mighty mountain ranges rising from the desert, attracting both active travelers who want to climb, cycle, hike and play golf. But also families with children who want a lot of vacation for their money.

– Each emirate has its own unique character, which means that they also appeal to different target groups. The common denominator is the unbeatable quality of everything from hotels and gastronomy to attractions and sights. All during one and the same trip. Regardless of which emirate you choose, the distances between them are so short that many make a day trip or two to another emirate, concludes Martina Krantz, press officer at Apollo.

With Apollo you can also book entire combination trips to the Emirates. Then you spend half your holiday in Dubai and half in either Abu Dhabi, Ras al Khaimah or Ajman.

According to the press release.
