Aircraft manufacturer Boeing is selling its air navigation unit to venture capital firm Thoma Bravo for $10.6 billion, or around SEK 100 billion. It reports Bloomberg.

The transaction includes navigation company Jeppesen and Boeing subsidiaries Foreflight, Aerdata and Ozrunways. Boeing acquired Jeppesen in 2000 for $1.5 billion and today's sale is part of the company's plan to reduce its debt mountain, which amounts to $58 billion, according to Bloomberg.

Boeing rose 0.7 percent on Tuesday and is down 9.4 percent since the turn of the year.
