Strasbourg train station evacuated after bomb threat.
Police will be on site and traffic will be at a standstill.
The alarm came at 6:30 p.m., Le Figaro reports. According to the newspaper, the state train authority SNCF has received a bomb threat that they have taken seriously.
The police then began evacuating the station and searching for any dangerous objects.
Later in the evening it was announced that it was a false alarm, according to French authorities.
Security has been heightened in Strasbourg since December 11 of this year, when Cherif Chekatt carried out a terrorist attack on a Christmas market in the French city. Five people were murdered and ten injured in the 29-year-old's attack.
He was shot dead by police two days later near the Christmas market he attacked.
