On October 20th, the twentieth edition of Palma Marathon Mallorca will take place, with TUI as the main sponsor and exclusive distribution partner this year. This year, the organisers expect more than 10,000 participants from 50 different countries.

The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca is the first international sporting event to be held under the TUI brand this year. The new agreement between TUI and the Palma Marathon Mallorca covers the 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions and is testament to TUI's commitment to the Balearic Islands. In 2024 alone, over two million of the tour operator's customers from across the globe are expected to visit the Balearic Islands.

– Travel and sport are a winning combination, and we are convinced that demand for our exclusive sports travel packages to the TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca will be high. Since the news was announced, we have received enquiries from customers across all markets. Many colleagues and partners will also be participating, says Magnus Hüttenberend, who heads up TUI's global sponsorships.

The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca's 42 km course runs along the coastal roads around Palma de Mallorca and through the city centre, where participants will pass important architectural landmarks, including the La Llotja and Es Baluard cathedrals. For those who feel a marathon is too long, there is also the option to participate in a half marathon or a 9 km race.

According to the press release.
