A car has been hit by an SJ train at the railway yard in Malmö.

The car was crushed under the train, but the driver is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.

No passengers were on board the train, the police write on their website.

– We currently don't know what has happened, says Kim Hild at the police operations centre in region South.

The accident occurred shortly after 7am.
