Chatarina most recently came from the role of HR Director for Systembolaget. She has a background with several management positions in both public and private businesses and is well-established in Dalarna from her previous positions in the hospitality industry and was raised in Falun.

– There is great confidence in the future development of the tourism industry in Dalarna and I feel extremely happy and honored to be part of the journey towards a leading tourist destination in Northern Europe by 2030. Being able to do it together with the tourism companies, all the competent employees in the organization and the region's municipalities is inspiring, says Chatarina Eriksson. 

– It has been important to find a CEO who can continue our work to unite the tourism industry and the municipalities around our jointly set goals and visions. Important areas for the business are creating business value through digitalization, internationalization and sustainability. Through her experience from both private and politically controlled organizations, Chatarina understands and is motivated by creating collaboration and helping everyone strive towards the same goal, says Karin Ringsby, Chairwoman of Visit Dalarna.
