This is, of course, a very welcome investment. It is not uncommon in other countries for these costs to be borne by the state on an ongoing basis, asultimately it is about protecting the country's borders. 

– We will now continue to follow developments closely in close dialogue with the airline and fuel companies. 

It is also positive that the government has already abolished the aviation tax, which had a dampening effect on both competitiveness and the aviation sector's transition.
