An electrical fault, which was discovered on Monday evening, has caused cancelled trains and delays in train traffic between Skövde and Falköping.
”"We will still have some delays due to the electricity supply, both this afternoon and during the evening," says Alexandra Elias, press spokesperson at the Swedish Transport Administration.
Commuter trains on the Gothenburg–Alingsås route and long-distance trains on the Gothenburg–Skövde–Stockholm route are also affected by delays due to a track fault.
”"The track fault is still ongoing. Unfortunately, it is happening on the same stretch as track work. We are working to resolve it," says Alexandra Elias.
During the morning, an accident occurred in Flemingsberg in Stockholm, which affected train traffic south. The problems were resolved during the morning and traffic is running according to schedule.
