Just in time for midsummer, Detur will start offering charter flights directly from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport to beautiful Tunisia. Detur, led by Danish owner Aventura Rejser (Aventura Travel Group), will offer charters every week starting on June 25th in collaboration with the airline Airseven.

The Swedes' desire to travel remains strong and there is a high demand for both charter flights and scheduled flights. Detur has taken note of this and is now offering charter flights from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport to Tunisia. Just in time for midsummer, the first plane will take off to the North African country on the Mediterranean, well known for its rich history and diverse nature. Tunisia offers both sun and water as well as interesting sights for those who want to explore the culture. Detur is collaborating with the Danish airline Airseven, which will operate the route.

– It is truly incredible that Detur is investing in charters from Gothenburg Landvetter Airport and to such an exciting destination as Tunisia with its rich history and interesting culture, says Anna Strömwall, Airport Manager at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport. This is the first time since 2019 that there will be charters to Tunisia and that Detur now offers trips from midsummer and well into autumn to sun and warmth is a welcome addition to the other offerings from the airport, she says.

– We notice that there is an incredible appetite for charter trips to mainly warm destinations. Swedes long to travel the world, both to new and well-known destinations. Being able to now offer Tunisia from Gothenburg Landvetter is something we are very proud of, says Mattias Hallén, Sweden manager at Detur. Tunisia is an absolutely fantastic country, with a rich history, an incredibly varied landscape and some of the Mediterranean's absolute best beaches. This, combined with the wonderful and welcoming local people, made the choice easy when we considered which destination we should focus on, he says.

Charters to Tunisia are arranged between June 25 and October 29, 2024 in collaboration with Airseven.

According to the press release.
