The main airport in Nashville, Tennessee – the home of country music – is to be renamed in honor of one of its biggest stars.

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) voted 6-0 on Friday to honor country legend Dolly Parton by changing the name of Nashville International Airport.

”"While the final name has not yet been determined, we are working closely with stakeholders to carefully determine how Dolly Parton's name and legacy will be woven into the project," MNAA said in a statement.

Parton died on August 25 at the age of 80 after a short battle with cancer.
