It is now clear that Ekman Hotels is acquiring Hotell Heden, previously owned by Liseberg. The hotel's cozy atmosphere will continue to welcome guests with the vision of delivering fantastic and personal service in a family spirit.
Hotel Liseberg Heden is a personal hotel in the heart of central Gothenburg. The hotel is built around three beautiful courtyards with 179 rooms spread over two floors. The hotel offers cozy and practically furnished rooms and flexible conference facilities. The hotel is an obvious home for families, vacationers, business travelers, couples, groups of friends and groups visiting Gothenburg. From here, it is walking distance to everything that central Gothenburg has to offer.
– The first time I entered Hotell Heden, I immediately fell in love with the facility. We are now happy to welcome the hotel to our family. The hotel has been run with the same values and the same unique identity as we have at other hotels in the chain, right from the start it felt right, says Patrik Ekman, CEO of Ekman Hotels.
The hotel property has been owned since April 2021 by Higab, who are very pleased with their new tenant:

The seller of the hotel business, Liseberg AB, is also very satisfied with the deal:
– Ekman Hotels feels like an exciting but at the same time stable buyer of the business. They have a clear vision of what they want to do and good knowledge and experience of running hotels and creating experiences. It is of course heartbreaking to let go of Heden, but we feel that we are leaving the business in the best of hands, says Liseberg CEO Andreas Andersen.
In addition to Hotell Heden, Ekman Hotels consists of Hotell Charlottenberg, Hotell Årjäng, Hotell Alfred Nobel Karlskoga, Stadshotellet in Kristinehamn and Hotell Stadsparken in Helsingborg. Ekman Hotels was established in 2018 and is owned and operated by Patrik Ekman.
The operation of Hotell Heden will be transferred as of June 1, 2022.
