In a grand building from 1901 next to the Gävle River and a stone's throw from Gävle Central Station lies Elite Grand Hotel. Much thanks to Mikael Ericsson, who after six years is now leaving his post as hotel director at Elite Grand Hotel to move on within the group. While Mikael is taking on the role of regional manager for the northern region within Elite Hotels of Sweden, work has been underway to appoint a new hotel director. Here, they have been looking for someone with solid experience in building hotel and restaurant experiences, and who can continue to develop Elite Grand Hotel as a destination with a focus on guest satisfaction. Now, they have landed in the choice of hotel director and appointed Emma Norelius to the position.

Emma most recently came from Clarion Hotel Winn where she worked as a hotel manager. Now she has left her position to use her 15 years of experience in the hotel industry to lead the work forward at the historic Elite Grand Hotel in Gävle.
