The Lufthansa Group's low-cost airline Eurowings continues to have strong faith in the Swedish market's desire to travel and is expanding with another direct route from its new base at Stockholm Arlanda during the winter. The airline is meeting demand from Swedish ski enthusiasts and launching a route to the Austrian Tyrol.
Eurowings continues its expansion in Sweden and at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. In connection with the 2022 summer program, the airline opened a new base and nearly twenty European routes that complement Arlanda's other destination offering.
In connection with the winter program, Eurowings is now adding another direct route to Innsbruck, often referred to as the capital of the Alps with proximity to skiing in nine different ski systems such as St. Anton and Ischgl in Austria, Cortina and the Dolomites in Italy and St. Moritz in Switzerland.
In total, the German airline will offer a total of twelve destinations during the winter from Stockholm Arlanda. The route is currently unserved and Eurowings will be the only one to fly regularly on the route.
Between January 14 and March 25, 2023, Eurowings will operate Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – Innsbruck Airport (INN) with a weekly departure on Saturdays.
