At least two deaths and dozens of injuries are reported after a train derailed after hitting a lorry north of Turin, Italian media report.

It is said to be a regional train on the Turin-Ivrea route.

Judging from pictures from the accident scene, the long truck had stopped over the tracks for an unclear reason when the train arrived at the town of Caluso late Wednesday evening.
