Finnair will begin flying to Toronto, Canada, on May 4, 2026, and will serve the city three times a week next summer – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. The reopening of the route marks Finnair’s return to Toronto after an eleven-year hiatus; the airline last flew to Toronto in the summer of 2015.

”We are pleased to expand our North American network and reintroduce Canada as a destination. Toronto is a popular destination and offers our European customers in particular good connections to other parts of Canada,” says Christine Rovelli, Finnair’s Chief Revenue Officer.

Toronto, Canada's largest city and the country's commercial and financial center, is known for its multicultural and vibrant cultural scene. Just over a hundred kilometers from the city is one of Canada's most famous tourist attractions - Niagara Falls - making it easy for travelers to combine a city break with nature experiences.

In addition to Toronto, Finnair will also fly to New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle in North America next summer.
