Finnish airline Finnair will cancel around 110 flights on Friday, May 30, due to a strike at Helsinki Airport. According to the company, an estimated 8,000 passengers will be affected by the strike action.
The background is the strike with targeted actions carried out by the Finnish aviation union IAU. A similar strike was also carried out earlier in May.
The strike is scheduled to last for four hours on Friday and will affect several airport services that the airline relies on. Finnair said customers affected by the cancellations will be offered alternative flights.
