Delays after train stoppage at Katrineholm

Due to an accident, train traffic past Katrineholm came to a standstill around 5.30 PM.

Almost two hours later, the Swedish Transport Administration announced that traffic had been reopened.
Several trains were brought to a standstill as a result of the disruption, affecting the following routes: Stockholm Central-Nyköping/Norrköping-Malmö/Copenhagen, Stockholm Central-Hallsberg-Gothenburg/Karlstad/Oslo, Linköping-Norrköping-Katrineholm-Eskilstuna-Västerås-Sala.
